Lewis University is a private school located 35 miles southwest of Chicago. Its student body, 6,300 strong, participates in over 80 undergrad academic programs and 35 graduate-level programs. In recent years, coinciding with a growth spurt in student population, Lewis University has welcomed larger numbers of students living on campus.
The complete re-imagination of the food experience is meant to be a drawing card for on-campus residents and commuters, alike. RDG saw a strong focus on fresh food and customization as being a game-changer for the student body.
The servery now features concepts that promote fresh food and a high level of customization. The dining space has been transformed into a true commons area with varied seating options and plenty of natural light.
